Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel is a true game-time decision for the team’s Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Washington wants to see Samuel work out before making a final determination on his status for this week.

The veteran receiver has been solid for Washington, catching 31 passes for 310 yards and two scores so far this season.

Jahan Dotson anytime touchdown scorer

With Samuel banged up, it may be worth taking a shot on Jahan Dotson to find the end zone in this game at +350 odds.

Dotson – the team’s first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft – has just one score this season, but he’s seen a ton of usage in the red zone.

Dotson has the second most red zone targets on the team (six) behind only Samuel (eight) this season. While Dotson has just one score, he could be in line for a bigger role if Samuel sits – or is limited – in this game.
