The Washington Commanders traded away their two best defensive players, but they're not completely out of a wild card spot in the NFC quite yet.

This Sunday's game against the New England Patriots will be a big one. If they can pull off the upset win, they'll pull within one game of getting back to .500. If you want my best bet for the game, you can find it in this week's edition of the "Road to 272 Bets."

In this article, I'm going to break down three players I'm going to be betting on to score a touchdown.

Best Anytime TD Bets for Commanders vs. Patriots

  • Terry McLaurin Anytime TD (+163)
  • Logan Thomas Anytime TD (+250)
  • Antonio Gibson Anytime TD (+260)

Terry McLaurin Anytime TD (+163)

Terry McLaurin leads the Commanders in targets (63), receptions (42), and receiving yards (495). so if we're going to bet on a receiver to find the end zone, it has to be him. Let's also consider the Patriots have one of the better run defenses in the NFL, but their susceptible to the pass. I'll bet on McLaurin to find the end zone for the Commanders.

Logan Thomas Anytime TD (+250)

Despite leading the team in receiving touchdowns with three, Logan Thomas is +250 to find the end zone on Sunday. He's been a consistent red zone target for Sam Howell, so I see no reason to bet on him to record his fourth score of the season.

Antonio Gibson Anytime TD (+260)

I wouldn't be surprised if the Commanders start giving the ball to Antonio Gibson more as the season progresses. Brian Robinson is average 4.0 yards per carry on the year, but Gibson is averaging half a yard more at 4.5. He's also hauled in seven more receptions than Robinson, which inherently gives him more value to score a touchdown at +260 odds.
