Commanders at Seahawks - Week 10

Going to the Seattle Seahawks isn't the easiest proposition at the best of times given how loud their fanbase can be. They are called The 12th Man for a reason, which promises to be a hostile environment for second-year quarterback Sam Howell all things considered.

Couple this with another strong offseason for the Seahawks on the back of becoming one of the NFL's biggest surprise packages in 2022, and this represents a tough challenge for the Commanders - one they would do well to get anything out of.

Prediction: Loss (4-6)

This game will come down to the two quarterbacks. Howell's inexperience leaves more questions than answers, but the Commanders' defensive front could rattle Geno Smith enough for the veteran to fall back into old habits such as rash decision-making.

Commanders vs. NY Giants - Week 11

After the New York Giants surprisingly made the playoffs in their first season under head coach Brian Daboll, fans will be expecting something similar in 2023. Especially considering they signed quarterback Daniel Jones to a long-term deal, placed the franchise tag on Saquon Barkley, and also secured the services of stud tight end Darren Waller via trade from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Waller, in particular, is a matchup nightmare for the Commanders. Although they did pick a physical slot presence who could assist in the form of second-round selection Quan Martin.

Prediction: Win (5-6)

Finding ways to win at home is going to determine Washington's fortunes in 2023. The Giants are a formidable divisional adversary these days, but the Commanders and head coach Ron Rivera have absolutely nothing to fear.
