Commanders WR Jahan Dotson excited for change
Things haven't gone according to plan for Jahan Dotson this season. Many were expecting a genuine breakout campaign from the second-year wide receiver. He's not met these lofty expectations, although the former first-round pick will get another opportunity to impress under the new Washington Commanders regime in 2024.
When discussing the future, Dotson highlighted the need to alter the culture across the organization based on comments via Clutch Points. This is another damning indictment of the thing Ron Rivera hangs his hat on when discussing his accomplishments over an indifferent four years at the helm.
"As far as players, a sense of culture. We got to have a mindset in here that we want change. We can't just accept this type of stuff because this is really hard on a lot of people. I know a lot of people come from winning backgrounds, so we've got to bring that stuff in here. We can't accept anything but winning. That starts with us players, no matter who the coaches are … I feel like the best teams that you see in any sport are player led."

Josh Harris' ownership group will have a plan in place. Whether player input comes into the equation remains to be seen. It's something he's adopted with other sports franchises such as the Philadelphia 76ers, so it cannot be dismissed entirely.
