What to expect from Dan Quinn's presser

All eyes will be on Dan Quinn this afternoon as he is formally introduced as Washington Commanders head coach. The experienced figure was greeted at the airport last night by general manager Adam Peters. The pair will speak to the media this afternoon - alongside majority ownership partner Josh Harris - at 2.30 p.m. Eastern Time.

This will be the first chance for Quinn to outline his vision for the franchise. Some fans remain skeptical about the hire given how things ended with the Atlanta Falcons. Therefore, he must leave a positive first impression ahead of his second head coaching opportunity.

Peters spoke about his intent for an aligned vision between the front office and coaching staff. He wants the process to be fluid and collaborative. These are sentiments Quinn is likely to echo as the Commanders embark on their exciting new era.

Of course, there will be questions about the quarterback position and some established stars. It'll also be interesting to see which players make an appearance. But make no mistake, everyone must rally around the new head coach if the Commanders want to stand any chance of making a go of things in 2024 and beyond.

The presser will be available to view on Washngton's social media channels and YouTube page. We'll also have plenty of reactions to the comments made in the hours and days ahead.
