The Washington Commanders have more financial means than anybody to attract capable veterans who can enable the new regime to hit the ground running. This is not the toxic, unattractive destination it once was under Dan Snyder's ownership. Those in power must find the right balance between acquiring new faces and keeping some established stars around.
It's a complex riddle that ensures hot topics of discussion almost daily. While we wait for further developments, the stories generating column inches include Kamren Curl's future, Amarius Mims being linked to the Commanders, the upcoming quarterback dilemma, and Washington's stud defensive tackle tandem praised.

Commanders linked to Amarius Mims
All the draft talk currently centers around what the Washington Commanders are going to do at No. 2 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, it's also worth remembering that new general manager Adam Peters also has five other selections in the top 102.
There are many holes to fill. It would be a huge surprise if Peters didn't prioritize the offensive line. Andre Castillo from Sportskeeda tabbed Washington as the ideal landing spot for Georgia's outstanding offensive tackle Amarius Mims.

Mims would be a tremendous addition to the Commanders. He represents an immediate upgrade either at right or left tackle given the inconsistencies displayed by Andrew Wylie and Charles Leno Jr. in 2023. Whether he'll be in range is another matter.
