Commanders ownership group lands another big fish
With discussions ongoing between Dan Snyder and the NFL which seems like the negotiating period before a prisoner gets sentenced (even though it's not), news of another big fish joining the ownership group led by Josh Harris became public knowledge. According to Sportico, Alejandro Santo Domingo is the latest wealthy individual to lend his support.
Santo Domingo is a Colombian billionaire whose family has a worth of $12.1 billion per Bloomberg. His own personal net worth is $2.8 billion according to Forbes.
How much Santo Domingo is committing to the purchase has yet to be revealed. However, this is another extremely influential figure in the business world based on the background reported by Scott Soshnick and Eben Novy-Williams of Yahoo Sports joining forces with many others to hopefully bring the Washington Commanders back to prominence.
"The family’s portfolio includes stakes in beer maker Anheuser-Busch InBev, Chilean bank Corpbanca and Spanish bank Inmobiliaria Colonial, as well as media and other holdings. Alejandro, 46, is also a managing director at Quadrant Capital Advisors."

This is another positive piece of news that Commanders fans hope will assist in reaching the end goal - a future without Snyder and the start of a profitable future that finally returns the franchise to the NFL's top table.
