Commanders News: Jack Del Rio, Terry McLaurin, Ron Rivera and coveted jobs

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin's bemusement
The Washington Commanders put together another inept outing on national television when they were hammered at the Dallas Cowboys. This moves Ron Rivera's men to 0-5 within the division and 4-8 overall, meaning big changes could be on the horizon even after firing defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio.
This is having a lingering impact on the locker room. Washington's players look completely devoid of confidence, with wide receiver Terry McLaurin almost lost for words about the way things are currently unfolding based on comments via Ben Standig of The Athletic.
"I don’t know how you wrap your head around this. They made some good adjustments at halftime … and they just kept the momentum going. The game got away from us."

The way Washington's season is completely capitulating represents a damning indictment of the players, coaches, and anyone else within the building currently. This won't be going unnoticed by Josh Harris' ownership, who've begun influencing matters on the football front and won't hesitate to hit the reset button when the 2023 campaign concludes for a brighter future.
Nobody is safe. Not Rivera, his coaches, those occupying front office positions, or even established figures suiting up every Sunday. That above all else should be enough to keep urgency right where it needs to be over their final five games.
In theory, anyway.
