Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr.'s ambition

It was refreshing to see the Washington Commanders get so much out of running back Brian Robinson Jr. in Week 2. The former Alabama star was instrumental in the team's triumph, gaining 129 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns during a sensational win on their travels.

Robinson showed why the Commanders are moving forward with him as their lead back. And the 2022 third-round selection highlighted that the best is yet to come based on his comments via Sports Illustrated.

"I know I got a lot more in the tank that I can show. Like I said, taking those strides week in and week out. Eventually, it will be all out on display. Always feels good to make plays and help the team win. I’ll do whatever I got to do. However many runs or carries or catches, it don’t matter. I just want to get the win."

As previously stated, the Commanders schemed things up superbly for their playmakers to completely dominate during the second half. Tougher tests are coming, so Robinson needs to keep up this high bar he's now set for himself over a prolonged spell of games.

Robinson isn't lacking in confidence that's for sure. This was his sophomore coming out party and if the same trend continues throughout the campaign, the Commanders have another dynamic weapon to depend upon long-term.
