Confidence in Dan Quinn

Dan Quinn's hire received mixed reviews among the media and fanbase alike. Those around the NFL hold a different opinion thanks in no small part to the esteem in which the head coach is held.

The Washington Commanders hope Quinn can maximize this second opportunity to lead an NFL franchise. He's left a good impression over his first few days in the role. He's also got a big fan in edge rusher Micah Parsons, who reaffirmed his belief that his former defensive coordinator can help the franchise return to prosperity based on comments via USA Today Sports.

"I would say it was already a competitive division. He’s just adding an extra piece to it. He’s going to turn that Commanders’ team around, and I’m super excited to go against him."

It'll be interesting to see how quickly Quinn can galvanize the Commanders. He got a better tune out of the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons quickly. Providing the right reinforcements are acquired by general manager Adam Peters this offseason, the same could occur in Washington.

Nobody is expecting miracles right away. They have a lot of hard work ahead after another terrible season overall in 2023. That's why the Commanders were intent on finding an experienced leader to steady the ship. Quinn is just that.
