Which Washington Commanders news stories are hitting the headlines as the organization braces itself for potentially more sanctions from the NFL?
It seems like there's no end to the controversy surrounding the Washington Commanders. Dan Snyder's time with the franchise might be coming to an end, but there could be a skeleton or two in the closet that could emerge before the disgraced billionaire rides off into the sunset.
Among the stories provoking debate recently include Andrew Luck's camp speaking out on allegations, Kamren Curl's status among other NFL safeties, Ron Rivera on Washington's process with new owners entering the fray, and K.J. Henry's memorable moment.
Let's delve into each topic in more detail.
Story No. 1
K.J. Henry's big Commanders moment
It's every dad's dream to see their children fulfill their goals. For the father of fifth-round selection K.J. Henry, it resulted in his son being drafted by the team he's supported all his life.
Henry recalled the moment he received the call from head coach Ron Rivera via Sports Illustrated. The former Clemson star said nobody was happier than his dad and not just because he'd finally achieved his goal to become an NFL player.
"I promise you I was very excited, but no one was screaming louder than my dad. Been a Commanders fan all his life. This has been his team and now it's my team. It was a big moment."

This also came with a viral moment where Henry's father went up to the closet, dusted off his old Jeremiah Trotter jersey, and proudly posed for pictures. It was simply amazing.
