Commanders at Rams - Week 15

The Los Angeles Rams are a difficult evaluation heading into 2023. It's a young group with an experienced quarterback in Matthew Stafford, but this isn't the same team that went on a memorable run to the Super Bowl looking at the options available to Sean McVay.

With an extended break and extra preparation time, the Washington Commanders can get their post-bye week objectives off to a good start on the road. It's a pretty daunting run of games after this, so picking up a win is of critical importance.

Prediction: Win (9-5)

If the Commanders get off to a hot start and the traveling support does their part, a ninth victory of the campaign won't be too far behind.

Commanders at Jets - Week 16

There aren't many teams being hyped up more than the New York Jets heading into the campaign. Their exceptional young defense coupled with a bombshell trade for quarterback Aaron Rodgers mean expectations are higher than ever, which is a lot to take in for a team generally considered a perennial underachiever.

This will be a tough ask for the Commanders - especially if their offensive line doesn't meet expectations. The likes of Quinnen Williams will exploit any weak link effectively, which is going to have an adverse impact on Sam Howell's production along the way.

Prediction: Loss (9-6)

When it's all said and done, this could come down to the quarterback production. In that sense, the Jets have a distinct advantage.
