Commanders at Falcons - Week 6

There are many unknowns surrounding the Atlanta Falcons currently. The Washington Commanders should have a broader indication of what to expect by this point, but they are a team that must be taken seriously despite questions surrounding second-year quarterback Desmond Ridder.

The former Cincinnati gunslinger was taken before Sam Howell in the 2022 NFL Draft. That should provide Washington's new man under center with all the motivation needed to prove Atlanta made a grave error in judgment.

Prediction: Win (5-1)

Taylor Heinicke might provide the Falcons with valuable intel. Fortunately for the Commanders, he hasn't been around since Eric Bieniemy's arrival to run the offense.

Commanders at NY Giants - Week 7

Another road divisional game for the Commanders to navigate relatively early in the campaign. After taking the league by storm in his first season as head coach, Brian Daboll has bigger expectations to manage with the New York Giants this time around.

New York has the talent to make the playoffs again. They retained quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley while also adding stud tight end Darren Waller into the mix to give their offense a different dimension.

Prediction: Loss (5-2)

This might be another defeat when it's all said and done. But again, it's not the end of the world in these hypothetical circumstances.
