Monday Night Football at the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3 helped paint a picture of what the Washington Commanders' fantasy players might be able to accomplish going forward. Jayden Daniels truly broke out, which helps you determine how the offense will progress in 2024.

Week 4 at the Arizona Cardinals presents a game that could end in another shootout. The over/under stands at 49.5 points, which should mean a high-scoring game is coming. Both offenses are high powered and both defenses are lacking consistency.

With this in mind, let's take a look at the fantasy football starts and sits for Commanders players in Week 4 at State Farm Stadium.

Commanders fantasy football starts and sits for Week 4

Starts

Jayden Daniels

Daniels has become a must-start quarterback every week already. The only signal-caller you should bench him for at this point is Josh Allen. If you do have both, it's time to trade one of them.

Once the offense opened up in Week 3, Daniels became fully unlocked in the passing game and the passing touchdowns came.

The Cardinals are currently allowing the 12th-most points to quarterbacks in 2024, so Daniels should thrive in this extremely plus matchup. We can't expect near 30-point fantasy weeks for the rookie quarterback every week, but a 20-plus point outing should be easy.

Brian Robinson Jr.

Brian Robinson Jr. may not be the most efficient back in the league currently, but he gets the job done for fantasy purposes. He is currently the RB14 on the season in PPR (points per reception) formats and should be a solid RB2 most weeks.

Robinson could finish as more of a low-end RB1 this week. The Cardinals are allowing the 10th-most points to running backs in 2024. With Austin Ekeler being out due to a concussion, the former third-round pick might see an increased workload, especially in the receiving game.

Start Robinson as a high-end RB2 in Week 4.

Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin had his fantasy breakout in Week 3 and it doesn't look like he's going to slow down. After averaging only six points per game through the first two weeks in PPR, the wide receiver posted 100 yards and a touchdown on four receptions, good for 20 fantasy points.

The root of that 20-point performance seemed to be Daniels breaking out and trusting the deep ball. McLaurin being a great fantasy receiver should stick for the remainder of 2024.

The Cardinals are around the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to the wide receivers, allowing the 15th-most in 2024. With that said, McLaurin should get the bulk of wide receiver fantasy points for the Commanders, so start him as a good WR2 in Week 4.

Zach Ertz

It's not pretty, but the tight-end position in fantasy football is just not great in general three weeks into the season. This may change, but right now Zach Ertz is a good start in fantasy. The veteran is currently averaging 8.3 points per game in PPR, which is good for TE9 on the year through three weeks.

As long as he remains the starter, Ertz is going to keep on earning his four to five targets a game and score in that seven to 10-point range, with the chance at a touchdown which he has not had in 2024, yet.

Fantasy players can start Ertz as long as you don't have an elite option.

Austin Seibert

Don't look now, but Austin Seibert is currently the K9 on the season, and he only played in two out of three games. He is not only becoming a valuable fantasy kicker in 2024 but also a fan favorite after his strong start to 2024.

Washington fans have been waiting years for the right kicker to come along. It might just be Seibert if he keeps this up.

Seibert is averaging 15.5 points per game in 2024, only behind Brandon Aubrey in the first three weeks. His fantasy points are a little inflated due to his 22-point game in Week 2, but he still had nine points in Week 3 with just one field goal attempted.

In another what could be shootout, start Seibert in Week 4.

Sits

Noah Brown

Noah Brown could be a solid contributor, as he is a talented receiver. However, he doesn't ever get involved in Kliff Kingsbury's screen game and is still not a full-time snap player.

His snap number did go up in Week 3. However, with only three targets in those snaps, you can't start him yet, even in deeper leagues.

Unless Brown becomes a full-time starting piece like McLaurin, he will continue to be a weekly sit in all leagues.

Luke McCaffrey

Luke McCaffrey seems to have become the primary slot receiver and WR3 for the team. He had 20 snaps in Week 3, which was third most for receivers on the Commanders. He also has an 82.8 percent slot percentage on his snaps.

McCaffrey has not proved to be fantasy-relevant as yet. Sit him even in deeper leagues.

Commanders defense

The Commanders' defense is currently the worst in fantasy, only averaging 0.7 points per game in 2024. Don't expect that to change against the Arizona Cardinals. This unit should not even be rostered.
