Commanders CB Emmanuel Forbes gains 7 INTs

There is an enormous sense of excitement about what Emmanuel Forbes can bring to the Washington Commanders. Jack Del Rio's defense has been crying out for a ball-hawk cornerback capable of creating turnovers, which is exactly why those in power became so enamored with the former Mississippi State star during their pre-draft assessments.

Forbes has certainly looked the part this offseason and seems to have no trouble coping with the physical aspect of playing the position despite his slender frame. There might be a few bumps in the road, but hopes couldn't be much higher for a young stud with every athletic intangible needed to thrive.

If Forbes could get his hands on seven interceptions, that's better than even the brightest optimist would hope for. Something that might even lead to Pro Bowl honors right out of the gate.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. gains 1,500 all-purpose yards

After catching the eye when introduced into the lineup, Brian Robinson Jr. looks like a player destined for great things this season. Much will depend on how the offensive line holds up, but the running back proved his worth in 2022 despite the most luckless start to his NFL journey imaginable.

Suffering gunshot wounds during a carjacking gone wrong was the last thing Robinson needed. His quick recovery was almost miraculous and although he was never quite 100 percent by his own admission, he left a positive impression all things considered.

Robinson's smooth offseason as the lead running back coupled with Eric Bieniemy's arrival suggests a potential breakout campaign could be in his immediate future. If the former Alabama stud impacts the passing game with more confidence, gaining 1,500 all-purpose yards is a bold yet attainable prediction.
