Commanders can't forget about Michael Gallup

He hasn't been as involved as in recent seasons, but wide receiver Michael Gallup remains a useful target for quarterback Dak Prescott. After some injury complications, he's now healthy and showcasing the speed to stretch the field on any given play.

Gallup is traveling nine yards before catching per reception, according to Pro Football Reference. That's ample proof the wideout is a favored target on deep routes, something the Washington Commanders must be wary of, no matter where No. 13 lines up.

The former Colorado State star showed the dangers for defenses prepared to play man-to-man against him when he burned rookie Tre Hawkins III for a 41-yard touchdown against the New York Giants in Week 10.

The Commanders need help over the top whenever Gallup lines up outside. It'll be a different story underneath, where an unfashionable tight end is proving his worth.
