Commanders must contain Rondale Moore (WR/RB)

He's still yet to put it all together, but Rondale Moore is a versatile player with the joystick moves to wreck any defense. The do-it-all weapon may have to take on a bigger workload as a receiver this season, but the Washington Commanders can't ignore his talents as a runner in space.

The Arizona Cardinals usually like to combine both facets of Moore's game into a plethora of screen passes. He clocked just 3.2 yards before catch per reception in 2022 per Pro Football Focus - clear evidence of how important he is to their overall game plan on offense.

One of the best examples of this theory in practice came against the Philadelphia Eagles during a play broken down by writer Matt Waldman.

Letting Moore get the ball in the open field like this will be a test of the Commanders' speed and range. Box safety Kamren Curl or slot cornerback Kendall Fuller must keep tabs on where he is both pre and post-snap.
