Commanders at Seahawks - Week 10
The mid-to-late campaign crunch is crucial as it has various season-defining games. The Washington Commanders' clash against the Seattle Seahawks on the road is one of them.
The Seahawks have established themselves as a playoff team in the NFC last season. In comparison to the AFC, the NFC has more flexibility in terms of who are postseason teams and who are not.
Seattle checked off multiple boxes this off-season. Among the biggest moves included adding defensive back Devon Witherspoon and wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba in the draft, signing quarterback Geno Smith to an extension, and bringing back linebacker Bobby Wagner.
They are doing everything within their power to prove last season was not a fluke. And this is a challenge the Commanders must be ready for in a notoriously histile atmosphere.
Barring any injuries, the matchup between Terry McLaurin and Tariq Woolen will be a notable one. The cornerback is a ballhawk with six interceptions during his rookie year, so it will be interesting to see how quarterback Sam Howell takes on this tough task.
Depending on how this season is going by then, a win in this matchup can put Washington in the right direction for a playoff spot in the NFC. But they must navigate the Seahawks and The 12th Man to attain this goal.
