Commanders could sign Adoree' Jackson

Losing Kendall Fuller in free agency seemed like a foregone conclusion from a long way out. There didn't seem to be any interest in extending the veteran cornerback. This was hardly a blow to the player, who got the chance to join the Miami Dolphins in pursuit of finishing his prime years on a contender.

The Commanders are placing a lot of faith in Emanuel Forbes, Benjamin St-Juste, and big nickel Quan Martin as it stands. Michael Davis is a nice depth option who could assist in some capacity, but the cupboard is relatively bare aside from that.

Again, this is something the Commanders could look to address during the draft. General manager Adam Peters might also look for a free-agent bargain to further fortify their options.

Adoree' Jackson is one of the more intriguing names on the market. His production with the New York Giants last season wouldn't be classed as stellar by any stretch. However, there was a lot to like about his coverage consistency and willingness to get physical against the run in 2022.

Whether Jackson has fallen off the proverbial cliff despite being just 28 years old is anyone's guess. There is an element of risk attached to this potential addition, but the rewards are there for all to see if last season's regression was a blip rather than anything more concerning.
