It's hard to think of superlatives that haven't been said regarding Jayden Daniels' sensational start to the season. The Washington Commanders appear to have a franchise quarterback on their hands at long last. If the No. 2 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft keeps up this remarkable form, he'll enter the elite category in no time.

Daniels isn't buying into the hype around the media. He knows that there is a lot of hard work ahead and a lot to learn. The signal-caller played 55 games in college, but he's a novice in the pros - even though he's not performing like it.

Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns is arguably Daniels' toughest test to date. Jim Schwartz's defensive unit is a formidable obstacle to overcome, led by All-Pro edge rusher Myles Garrett and several other accomplished performers. The Heisman Trophy winner needs to be at the top of his game once again to get Washington its fourth win in five outings this season.

With that being said, here are five bold predictions for Daniels in Week 5 at Northwest Stadium.

Bold predictions for Commanders QB Jayden Daniels vs. the Browns

Jayden Daniels gains 85 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD

The Washington Commanders could be without Brian Robinson Jr. in Week 5. It'll be a game-time decision after the running back suffered a knee issue last time out and hasn't practiced much this week. Even if the former third-round selection does go, he won't be at 100 percent.

Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols will shoulder the load in Robinson's potential absence. However, they could also utilize Jayden Daniels' exceptional ability to run the football in this scenario.

Daniels has toned down his running the more comfortable he's become in the pocket. It's still a threat that opposing defenses will take seriously. The Cleveland Browns' explosive linebacking corps can also close space quickly, so the dual-threat needs to pick and choose his spots carefully.

If Daniels can do this effectively, gaining 85 rushing yards and a touchdown is a bold yet attainable objective.
