4 Commanders players with the potential to dominate in 2023

Jonathan Allen - Commanders DT
There have been plenty of changes to personnel over the last few seasons. But one constant will once again be tasked with significant responsibilities next season.
Jonathan Allen is among the league's best defensive tackles for a reason. The former first-round selection has blossomed into a complete, dominant presence capable of impacting proceedings on any given down - something the Washington Commanders need in no uncertain terms in 2023.
It's hard to look at Allen's game and spot any flaws. He is a stout force against the run, has enough burst to close space quickly, and is also a capable pass-rusher with high-end finishing capabilities.
If that wasn't enough, Allen is also an undisputed locker room leader. Someone that others look to for guidance and follow into battle willingly.
Allen is firmly in the prime of his career and the Commanders would be wise not to waste such a special talent. But in truth, Jack Del Rio's defense is not the problem when examining Washington's potential fate next season.
The Alabama product is the team's highest earner by a considerable margin with his $21.44 million cap hit. If anyone can live up to this whopping number, it's Allen.
