Benjamin St-Juste - Commanders CB

After another indifferent outing on Thanksgiving afternoon at the Dallas Cowboys, the last thing cornerback Benjamin St-Juste wanted to see on the schedule was the Miami Dolphins. Make no mistake, the pressure is on for a bounce-back game in the biggest possible way.

St-Juste is one of many Washington Commanders players who haven't met expectations this season. There have been some nice moments, but the regression in recent weeks is concerning and something that cannot continue this weekend versus Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Especially in Hill's case, jamming him at the line of scrimmage is the best - and only - way to counteract his elite speed. St-Juste boasts the profile to accomplish this, but going downfield with the wideout is something the Commanders should avoid where the former Minnesota college star is concerned.

Any more blown assignments and suspect coverage won't be well received. Fans have seen enough of St-Juste getting beat deep and giving up touchdowns - now is the time to put together a big performance versus the league's most explosive offense.

Fellow cornerback Kendall Fuller also has a significant role to play, especially if Emmanuel Forbes misses out through injury as expected. But the onus is on St-Juste to somehow impose his will after an underwhelming campaign up to this point.
