Coming off a 10-day mini-bye, the Washington Commanders head down to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in an increasingly important game for all involved.

I couldn’t have been more comically incorrect last week with my bold predictions about the Washington Commanders' primetime matchup against the Chicago Bears. Then again, I wasn't alone on that particular front.

Though always in the realm of possibilities, not many were anticipating Washington getting completely embarrassed in front of a national audience and sold-out home crowd on Thursday Night Football. But there is no point looking back any longer with another important game upcoming.

The excitement and hope from the start of the new season have quickly been erased by a trying three-game losing skid. Any previously positive attitude among the fanbase has drastically shifted to a painfully pessimistic and impatient tone.

With injuries now becoming a factor in an already underperforming secondary, the Commanders will need all hands on deck for a chance to get back into the win column on Sunday. Thankfully with kickoff quickly approaching, another chance arrives for Washington to change the narrative and get back on track.

It won't be easy, not by any stretch of the imagination, but Washington has a chance. Let's take a look at four bold predictions for the Commanders' Week 6 road contest against the Atlanta Falcons.
