What could be the Washington Commanders' biggest Achilles Heel ahead of a make-or-break campaign for the franchise in 2023?

I have to own up to something. I didn’t watch the Washington Commanders' first preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. Not live anyway.

I was traveling. I recorded it, but you know what happened with the dang-blasted weather delay. Eventually, I did get around to watching. And one thing scared the hell out of me.

It wasn’t the offensive line. Don’t get me wrong – that is a major issue. But we already knew that. We’ve all written about it.

As bad as Andrew Wylie looked at right tackle, the two young guards looked pretty solid. And I figure if nothing else, Washington has bodies to throw at this particular problem.

That has been their mindset for a while now, and it isn’t great. But at least the Commanders have the two rookie draftees and a couple of intriguing undrafted free agents in the mix. The protection will not be perfect, but I think in time it will be serviceable.

But as of now, I do not have that same confidence in the linebackers. On this topic and more, here are three potential Achilles Heels on the Commanders next season.
