Commanders have to control DeMarcus Lawrence

The dominance of Micah Parsons sometimes makes it easy to forget about DeMarcus Lawrence, but the 31-year-old can still take over a game. No. 90 isn't the force he once was rushing the passer, but he's exceptional against the run.

Lawrence showcased his ability to get into the backfield with this tackle for loss against the Detroit Lions, highlighted by Aaron Day of DLineVids.

This is one of the veteran's 10 tackles for loss this season. Lawrence also boasts 11 run-stuffs to his credit, according to ESPN.

The Washington Commanders will need a heavy dose of the running game to keep Tony Pollard, Dak Prescott, and the high-powered Dallas offense off the field. That won't happen if the home team fails to control Lawrence at the line of scrimmage.

When they do throw the ball, the Commanders should avoid testing another productive veteran.
