3 key matchups that could decide Commanders vs. Cardinals in Week 1

Commanders vs. Injuries
This doesn't sound like a legitimate matchup. But how the Washington Commanders handle their current injuries could determine how this game plays out.
Who will actually play for the Commanders on Sunday? Will their supposed depth improvements to make a difference?
First off, you can't replace Terry McLaurin, who is dealing with a turf toe. Even if he does play, there's no way he's going to be at 100 percent.
As mentioned earlier, Jahan Dotson will have the opportunity to showcase his talents as a WR1, but that puts a lot of stress on guys like Curtis Samuel, Dyami Brown, and others to step up. This will ensure the former first-round pick isn't getting all the defense's attention.
Chase Young has been dealing with a stinger for a while now and hasn't been cleared at the time of writing. This could mean James Smith-Williams and rookie Andre Jones Jr. against the No. 6 overall pick Paris Johnson Jr.
Johnson is the future of the Cardinals' offensive line and is one of the best edge protectors to emerge from the college ranks in recent years. Arizona might have a more effective running game, and more time in the pocket, with a more comfortable rookie lineman - all threats that must be counteracted.
Any given Sunday is the perfect phrase for the NFL craziness. Anything can happen if Washington isn't at their best. These matchups could be pivotal turning points that sway the outcome.
