Commanders CB Emmanuel Forbes vs. Zay Flowers

The excitement surrounding this young cornerback is unbelievable. Emmanuel Forbes - with his slender build - has a knack for creating turnovers at will with incredible instincts - something we've seen throughout the offseason and even during the Washington Commanders' joint practices against the Baltimore Ravens.

The No. 16 overall pick has been in almost every defensive highlight since the start of OTAs. But Monday's game is definitely going to be fun to have Fobes matchup against another rookie in Zay Flower, who has been getting the better of the Commanders defenders.

How much we will see Forbes-Flowers matchups should make some great content talk and highlight reels.

We know that Forbes is going to lose some battles this season, but he's going to win his fair share as well. His tenacity to be around the ball is what going to make offenses think twice before throwing his side of the field.

He will be tested from the likes of Aaron Rodgers to Josh Allen this season. Despite Forbes' small frame, he can make the necessary adjustments even if he gets beat.

When he was matched up against Odell Beckman Jr., Forbes was able to recover and break up the initial pass. The former Mississippi State standout is embracing the challenge and seems very prepared for the moment.
