How much fight do the Commanders have left?

It's been a grueling campaign with very little to cheer where the Washington Commanders are concerned. They've won just two of their last 10 games and frustrations are building within an underperforming locker room overall as a result.

Whether removing defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio can increase the sense of urgency remains to be seen. Many analysts believe the Commanders have already checked out with five contests remaining, which wouldn't be a good look with many facing uncertain futures if a new coaching regime comes into the fold.

We'll find out how much fight remains within the Commanders playing staff in this one. Anything less than maximum effort will result in a pummeling from the Miami Dolphins, so waving the white flag at any stage is out of the question.

It's about time the Commanders put a complete performance in all three phases together this season. There is no pressure or expectations on their shoulders in Week 13, so playing relaxed and with a sense of freedom could lead to a better display than many are anticipating from a team going nowhere in 2023.

At the very least, have some personal pride. Fight for yourself and your teammates. Give the fans something to be encouraged by rather than settling for doing the bare minimum.

The odds are stacked against the Commanders. How they respond in the face of adversity is something to keep a close eye on.
