3 Commanders role players to benefit most from Sam Howell as QB1 in 2023

Dyami Brown - Commanders WR
Dyami Brown has found life tough over his first two seasons with the Washington Commanders. It was always going to be difficult carving out prominent targets considering the presence of Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel, but Jahan Dotson's joining in the first round last year pushed him further down the pecking order than ever.
At the very best, Brown heads into the 2023 campaign as the No. 4 option. However, all hope is not lost just yet where the former third-round selection is concerned.
The primary reason for this is Sam Howell and their previously productive connection at North Carolina before both took their chances at the next level. Brown went over 1,000 receiving yards in two straight seasons together with 20 touchdowns, which is a connection Washington's coaching staff will be hoping resumes sooner rather than later.
Brown has the athleticism and explosiveness to become more of a factor. That's not exactly a high bar to aim for either after the wideout accumulated just 17 receptions from 39 targets over the last two campaigns.
Howell no doubt trusts Brown considerably to be in the right spot at the right time. But the chances of supplanting McLaurin, Samuel, and Dotson from the top-three positions appear slim.
