3 Commanders players that must improve in Week 3 vs. the Bills

Jahan Dotson - Commanders WR
There's been nothing overly wrong with Jahan Dotson's production through the opening fortnight. However, many were expecting better numbers from the former first-round selection within a dynamic new offensive scheme implemented by Eric Bieniemy.
Dotson landed on almost every preseason breakout candidate list around the media before competitive action began. Things haven't quite clicked as yet, although much of this also has to do with Bieniemy's preference to spread the wealth in the Washington Commanders' passing game rather than focus on a specific duo or trio.
With eight receptions from 12 targets for 62 receiving yards to date, Dotson could be due a prolific game in the not-too-distant future. The Commanders have many other mouths to feed on offense, but making better use of such an explosive force would be wise given the standard of opposition.
The Buffalo Bills are giving up a measly 151 yards per game through the air after two weeks. Their secondary is first class and the likes of Ed Oliver on the defensive front could cause havoc if afforded enough room.
Perhaps getting Dotson going over short to intermediate routes more frequently could open things up downfield later on. But don't be surprised if the Penn State product raises his influence considerably providing the weather doesn't restrict things through the air too much.
