How to listen to Titans vs. Commanders NFL Week 13 game on the radio
By Dean Jones
A postseason position and potential NFC East championship looked like a possibility for the Washington Commanders just a few short weeks ago. Unfortunately for Dan Quinn's squad, that's no longer the case heading into their Week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans.
The Commanders are on a three-game losing run. Their loss at home to the Dallas Cowboys last time out was unexpected and embarrassing in equal measure. This slump came at the worst possible time. Stopping the rot before the team's bye week is critical.
They'll have to do it without running back Austin Ekeler, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering a serious concussion versus Dallas. The veteran running back emerged as one of Jayden Daniels' most dependable options. With Brian Robinson Jr. also dealing with an ankle sprain, it'll be interesting to see how the backfield dynamic shakes out in the face of Tennessee's imposing run defense.
Quinn knows his team is going through some turmoil right now. He also knows all hope is not lost with the Commanders at 7-5 and still clinging onto the final wildcard spot. Looking at how the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers are performing, there's only one place left for the rest behind the four division winners.
Will the Commanders put a more consistent performance together and get back to winning ways? Or will the Titans play spoiler with second-year quarterback Will Levis leading the charge?
Titans vs. Commanders game details
- Date: Sunday, December 1
- Time: 1.00 p.m. ET
- Venue: Northwest Stadium
The Commanders have played the Titans 14 times. Tennessee holds a slender 8-6 advantage all-time, which comes thanks in no small part to their recent record.
Washington hasn't won any of its last two fixtures in this matchup. They haven't achieved success over the Titans since 2014 and have been beaten three times in their last five. That won't count for much in this one, but it's an obstacle to overcome nonetheless.
