Antonio Williams - Commanders WR
The Washington Commanders have a much-improved receiver unit this season. Stefon Diggs' arrival changed the dynamic, and although Jayden Daniels went down again with a dislocated elbow, veteran backup Marcus Mariota still moved the ball through the air effectively against the Seattle Seahawks.
Antonio Williams is a big part of the team's plans. The third-round selection caught the eye against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1, but he wasn't involved all that much the following week in Dallas.
That changed in Week 3. Still, a couple of glaring errors could have proved costly.
Fortunately, that wasn't the case. Williams would like to have the target he dropped back, though he managed two receptions for just 15 receiving yards. This is all part of the rookie learning curve, but the former Clemson star has enough talent to come good once everything slows down for him.
The Commanders will need Williams to step things up as we go further along in 2026. He knows how to separate, and he is a threat after the catch. But until he proves dependable in the key moments, the first-year wideout will remain a complementary piece behind Diggs and Terry McLaurin.
Williams is going through some growing pains right now. However, his flashes indicate a bright future is ahead.

Sonny Styles - Commanders LB
The Commanders had complete confidence in Sonny Styles when they selected the linebacker with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. After some incredibly harsh preseason criticism, he was eager to show what he could really do in a competitive regular-season setting.
And boy, has he delivered so far.
Styles has been a revelation through three weeks. The Commanders needed him to grow up quickly, with Frankie Luvu missing with a groin injury and Leo Chenal going out in Week 3 with a scary fractured neck that required season-ending surgery. It was a lot to ask of someone so young, but the Ohio State product excelled.
The three-down force shone against the Seahawks. Styles' pre-snap communication was much improved. He was disciplined against the run and was exceptional in coverage. It was a complete breakout performance from the budding star, and any doubters about his credentials have firmly been silenced in short order.
Washington is short at linebacker until Luvu returns. Hopefully, he won't be out much longer. But until then, Stylees is the alpha, and he's already proven he belongs.
And if the same trend continues, the Commanders will have a bona fide franchise cornerstone on their hands.
