Commanders get a divisional primetime game
According to Nerding on NFL, the Commanders are set to play the New York Giants in primetime in Week 10. This could carry high stakes, depending on how the two clubs get on beforehand. It should also feature a battle between two young, mobile quarterbacks in Jayden Daniels and Jaxson Dart, who'll be looking to get the upper hand on one another for the next decade.

International game for the Commanders in 2026
Rumors suggest the Commanders will once again be on the road for an international game next season. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that a hospitality company advertised Washington as the host of a contest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October 4.
👀British hospitality company has Commanders playing in London on Oct. 4th. Consistent w what I’ve heard. More interesting, the Jags host a game Oct. 11th according to this site. Washington plays @ JAX so that could create chance for back to back games in London… pic.twitter.com/0X0slOuhrO

This will be the second time in as many years that the Commanders have played abroad, with head coach Dan Quinn's squad taking part in the first international game in Madrid against the Miami Dolphins.
Reports also suggest that the Commanders will play their international game against the Indianapolis Colts. This was confirmed on Wednesday.

No Thanksgiving Day game for Washington
Playing on Thanksgiving is something the Commanders have done plenty of in recent years. This typically sees them taking on the division rival Dallas Cowboys, who traditionally host a game in front of the entire NFL audience on the holiday.
The Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving this year, leaving the Commanders out of luck but with one less short week to worry about.
