Noah Brown goes over 100+ receiving yards

The Washington Commanders' passing attack performed well in difficult circumstances in Week 6. It was a big reason why they managed to stay competitive until the end against a team expected to go deep into the postseason. Having more balance will help moving forward, but this remains a huge positive from the opening six weeks.

Noah Brown fought hard in the face of stern opposition last time out. The wide receiver brought in four receptions from eight targets for 58 receiving yards. There's notable chemistry enhancements between the pass-catcher and Jayden Daniels - something that could continue at home to the Carolina Panthers.

Aside from stud cornerback Jaycee Horn, the Panthers are going through some struggles in the secondary. They are conceding points at a rapid rate and giving up 226.3 yards per game through the air. That could be much worse if teams weren't running the football with commanding leads in the second half more often than not.

Brown was a feast or famine acquisition who is due for a genuine breakout game. Opportunities should be plentiful despite Carolina potentially getting Dane Jackson back from injury. If the targets arrive, don't be surprised if the former seventh-round pick gains triple-figures this weekend.

Frankie Luvu gains 13 tackles

Frankie Luvu is relishing the challenge of testing his skills against those he shared a locker room with just a few short months ago. The linebacker turned down a contract extension with the Panthers this offseason to join the Commanders. He wanted to be part of an ambitious project and see if Dan Quinn's scheme could ignite his career further, signing a three-year deal within hours of the legal tampering period beginning.

Luvu's been a revelation so far. He's the ying to Bobby Wagner's yang, forming a dynamic linebacking tandem with the right blend of explosiveness and football savvy. That trend needs to continue in Week 7.

The Panthers have a formidable offensive line. They've been running the football well with Chuba Hubbard. This is a struggling team, but their ground attack is something the Commanders must take seriously.

Wagner and Luvu's contribution will be pivotal, especially considering Washington will be without defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and potentially edge rusher Dorance Armstrong Jr. Couple this with the former undrafted free agent's extra momentum versus his old team, and a big day could be on the horizon.
