Jayden Daniels throws for 300+ passing yards

Jayden Daniels' passing prowess has come on significantly throughout the season. His first-game jitters that relied on running the football in Week 1 are long gone, replaced by a confident, poised presence capable of going through his progressions with ruthless efficiency.

Unless someone surges from obscurity to become a game-wrecking pass-rusher for the Carolina Panthers, Daniels should have more time to make the right decisions in the passing game than he had at any stage versus the Baltimore Ravens. And once the signal-caller gets comfortable in the pocket, he's a difficult proposition to stop.

The Panthers are giving up 226.3 yards per game through the air. However, it's also worth remembering that teams tend to be ahead relatively early and boast commanding leads against them late. This allows them to focus on the run game to chew the clock.

Opportunities will be plentiful for Daniels. Picking and choosing his spots is crucial, but achieving the 300-yard passing mark is a bold yet attainable projection if he can find a way to neutralize Jaycee Horn on one side of the field.

Jayden Daniels secures 5 combined touchdowns

The Panthers are giving up points at a record-setting pace. Dan Morgan's decision to transition the team's primary investments to the offensive side of the football in pursuit of getting a genuine evaluation of quarterback Bryce Young is not going well. This won't go unnoticed by Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders during their preparations for the clash.

Daniels represents a nightmare for any defensive coordinator to scheme against. Ejiro Evero is more experienced than most and could be a future head coach one day. However, he's working almost with one hand tied behind his back upon further examination of the personnel available.

One of the most encouraging things surrounding Daniels' growth is his improved conviction in the red zone. Looking at how porous the Panthers have been - giving up an astonishing 33.8 points per game through six weeks - this represents an outstanding chance for the Cajon High School product to boost his stats versus a perennial bottom feeder.

If Daniels can gain five combined touchdowns against the Panthers at Northwest Stadium, that should be enough for success. However, this could also turn into a shootout looking at Washington's deficiencies in the secondary.
