Jayden Daniels enhanced his blossoming reputation with another polished performance in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. That didn't matter to the rookie quarterback considering the Washington Commanders lost the contest, but it was further proof this franchise has a prolific long-term presence under center capable of spearheading their renaissance.

Daniels wasn't interested in talking about personal achievements or the praise he received from some established Ravens veterans such as Lamar Jackson and Roquan Smith. He's a team-first guy - someone who leads by example and through an aura that players have naturally gotten behind. One defeat won't make or break Washington's fate at this stage, so how the Commanders respond will be crucial.

Next up for Daniels is the Carolina Panthers, who are going through some complications defensively. The Heisman Trophy winner is treating this opponent with the same respect as he did the Ravens, which is the correct mentality to have as the Commanders aim to improve their hopes of making the postseason in Year 1 of Dan Quinn's head coaching tenure.

With this in mind, here are five bold predictions for Daniels in Week 7 at Northwest Stadium.

Bold predictions for Commanders QB Jayden Daniels in Week 7

Jayden Daniels gains 80% completion success

The Panthers aren't 1-5 by accident. They've made strides offensively since benching Bryce Young. However, injuries to key personnel and a lack of talent on defense are significant stumbling blocks holding them back.

This looks like a tremendous matchup for Jayden Daniels. Defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero plays more Cover 3 than anyone in the league. Considering how the Panthers find it difficult to generate any consistent pressure, the former LSU can pick them apart with supreme accuracy.

This is something Daniels has displayed versus all types of defenses through six weeks. His completion percentage remains high at 75.3. Expect this trend to continue and potentially increase against the Panthers if he can keep the football away from stud cornerback Jaycee Horn.

If Daniels can hit the 80 percent pass completion mark, it'll do the Commanders' chances a tremendous amount of good.
