It might be an early window game, but all eyes will be on Jayden Daniels in Week 6 when he locks horns with reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson for the first time. The Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens are in red-hot form to begin the season, so this is a mouth-watering early battle between the close neighbors that was worthy of a primetime flex.

CBS protected the game and with good reason. Daniels has taken the league by storm as a rookie, displaying the poise and electrifying traits that made him such a coveted prospect in college. Jackson is also on a tear as he looks to finally lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl. It's the young upstart versus the proven commodity.

This is a tremendous measuring stick for the Commanders after their incredible opening to the season. Nobody expected Dan Dan Quinn's men to be 4-1 through five weeks. Although there are several important factors behind their surprising success, none come close to the impact of having a genuine franchise quarterback for the first time in years.

An enthralling afternoon awaits at M&T Bank Stadium. With this in mind, here are five bold predictions for Daniels in Week 6.

Bold predictions for Commanders QB Jayden Daniels at the Ravens

Jayden Daniels throws TD on the opening drive

The atmosphere is going to be rocking for this one. Baltimore's fanbase knows this game has extra meaning thanks to Jayden Daniels' presence under center. It'll be loud, so taking the crowd out of the equation is the primary objective early on.

Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury must get premium value from his scripted plays to begin the contest. The Ravens' defense is talented but sometimes vulnerable during their adjustment period without Mike Macdonald. Daniels must keep the added adrenaline in check, take things one play at a time, and be ready for the disguised coverages and exotic blitz packages inevitably coming his way.

If Daniels can spearhead the Commanders to an opening drive touchdown, it will set the right tone and let Baltimore know they aren't going to go down without a fight.
