Even though the Washington Commanders are dealing with some troubling injury issues, expectations are still high heading into their Week 4 test against the Atlanta Falcons on the road.

And if head coach Dan Quinn's men want to meet loftier expectations this season, these are the games they need to win.

The Falcons won't be doing the Commanders any favors. Head coach Raheem Morris, who was on Washington's staff once upon a time, will be demanding a response from his players after they were humiliated by the Carolina Panthers. Quinn's squad must beware of the wounded animal, but they'll be brimming with confidence after soundly beating the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3.

Another fascinating afternoon awaits. Before then, here are three wildly bold Commanders' predictions at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Wildly bold Commanders' predictions for Week 4 test against the Falcons

Jaylin Lane gains 100+ receiving yards

It doesn't seem like the Commanders will have Terry McLaurin available. The same goes for Noah Brown, who hasn't been seen at practice this week before Friday's referendum on his overall status.

That's a blow offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury must deal with effectively. One of the best ways he could do this is by finding a bigger role for rookie fourth-round wide receiver Jaylin Lane within his schematic concepts.

Lane earned Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week thanks to his electrifying punt return touchdown in Week 3. That'll be a confidence boost, and this explosiveness should get more looks on offense if McLaurin and Brown don't suit up.

Commanders' defense gains two interceptions

Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was flustered and confused by Carolina's creative defensive concepts. That shouldn't have gone unnoticed by Joe Whitt Jr. as part of his planning for the clash.

Penix is undoubtedly talented, but he remains inexperienced at the pro level. He gained a lot of success against the Commanders last season. However, the signal-caller is no longer a surprise package. If pressure is applied and coverages are disguised, turnover opportunities will become available.

Commanders hold Bijan Robinson under 65 rushing yards

Containing prolific running back Bijan Robinson will be key to Washington's chances. The former Texas star is a phenomenal dual-threat presence who can set the tone and change the course of any game. Fortunately for the Commanders, their run defense has shown significant improvement so far this season.

They will need all that and more against Robinson. If they can restrict his influence and put the game in Penix's hands, Washington's chances of their third win in four outings this season improve exponentially.
