Which prospects should the Washington Commanders consider with their five remaining selections on Day 3 of the 2023 NFL Draft?

The Washington Commanders have multiple options available heading into Day 3 of the 2023 NFL Draft. Those in power spent their opening three picks on two defensive backs and a high-upside offensive lineman, so this could be the time when Ron Rivera goes for the best prospect available rather than any specific need.

It’s been interesting to see the dynamic within the Commanders’ war room currently. Eric Bieniemy’s presence hasn’t stopped Rivera from adding to his already prolific defense, but it would be a surprise if the play-caller didn’t acquire some additional playmakers that fit within his scheme over the final four rounds.

Looking at the options available, the Commanders could get themselves some high-impact performers and intriguing development projects. But as Rivera stated, this is entirely dependent on what transpires in front of them.

With that being said, here are seven remaining prospects the Commanders must consider on Day 3.

Commanders could draft Tyler Scott

  • Wide Receiver | Cincinnati Bearcats

As stated previously, the Washington Commanders could look to provide Eric Bieniemy with some extra weapons on Day 3. If this scenario becomes a reality, then Tyler Scott has all the skills needed to thrive within his system.

Scott is a pocket rocket who makes things happen with the football in his hands. There isn’t enough size to consider the prospect as an outside option, but Bieniemy could have a lot of fun conjuring up ways for the Cincinnati product to be effective within a strong wideout room.
