The hype is real where Bijan Robinson is concerned. He has absolutely everything normally associated with elite NFL running backs and has the scope to become a supreme star in no time at all.
Robinson is the complete package and if one took out positional importance, he’s arguably the most talented prospect in this entire draft class. The player was almost unstoppable during his final college campaign at Texas, boasting the patience, power, and explosiveness that will easily transfer to the next level in 2023.
There are very few – if any – flaws in Robinson’s game. He is an exceptional runner out of the backfield, with every carry coming with ferocity and power that makes him a tough proposition to overcome.
Another thing that sets Robinson apart is patience. The running back isn’t afraid to wait for the right seam and once it arrives, his pure burst to exploit even the smallest gap is nothing short of astonishing.
Robinson is a difference-maker in the passing game with crisp routes and soft hands. The former Longhorn is also accomplished in pass protection, although this could and will improve further once he receives NFL-caliber coaching.
This is a home run hit for somebody. Whether that’s the Washington Commanders or not is the big question.
