Commanders will soon be sold

This, above all else, will be the biggest win for fans. When the news officially drops, there are going to be jubilant scenes on social media and in the streets.

With speculation mounting about when – not if – the Washington Commanders will be sold, the long-suffering fanbase is waiting with bated breath for the day Dan Snyder finally relinquishes power. But the fact he’s being left with little option other than to sell up is a massive positive.

Snyder has done nothing good to benefit Commanders football in recent years. The disgusting allegations about Washington’s workplace environment tipped the scales, with further allegations about unapproved loans something else that’s cast a stain on the billionaire this offseason.

While the NFL owners are hoping Snyder agrees to sell before they force him out, anything can happen. But there is real momentum behind the sale after Josh Harris joined forces with Mitchell Rales to potentially get a deal over the line.

This represents the dawning of a new era. One that can finally remove Snyder’s reign of terror and hopefully bring the right investment to make the Commanders one of the league’s most profitable franchises once again.

As the song goes – at the end of the storm, there’s a golden sky. Something every Commanders fan will be hoping comes sooner rather than later.
