4 players that could follow Eric Bieniemy to the Commanders in 2023

Commanders could sign Jerick McKinnon
Even though the Washington Commanders look pretty solid at the skill positions outside of perhaps seeking a new tight end, no team can ever have enough difference-makers on their roster. Something that could see Eric Bieniemy go back to a familiar face or two as he looks to hit the ground running in a different environment.
Brian Robinson Jr. and Antonio Gibson are expected to lead the running back room in 2023. The presence of J.D. McKissic is another option, although finding an upgrade on the backfield pass-catcher cannot be dismissed, either.
If this scenario comes to fruition, then the Commanders should examine Jerick McKinnon. The dual-threat weapon is out of contract and although the Kansas City Chiefs will likely attempt to extend him, taking his chances elsewhere is another realistic possibility all things considered.
McKinnon benefitted enormously from an increased role under Bieniemy in 2022. The much-traveled player gained 803 all-purpose yards and 10 combined touchdowns last season, which is something the Commanders could utilize within a more expansive offensive scheme.
This could be the last chance for McKinnon to get a payday. If the Chiefs cannot move enough money around, Washington has the resources to swoop.
