Terry McLaurin – Commanders WR

Considering the almost constant stream of quarterbacks since Terry McLaurin entered the NFL, his production has been up there with the very best. Something that should increase further with Eric Bieniemy running things in 2023.

The Washington Commanders need to figure out whether Sam Howell is the guy. In order to ensure Bieniemy makes an instant impression, some significant reinforcements are also needed across the offensive line for good measure.

This should be figured out by those in power well ahead of training camp. And make no mistake, Bieniemy has an embarrassment of riches at Washington’s skill positions with McLaurin the cream of the crop.

Bieniemy has the luxury of lining up McLaurin almost anywhere safe in the knowledge he’ll get open. With the likes of Curtis Samuel and Jahan Dotson also operating in prominent positions, it’s hard to envisage a situation where the respected offensive mind fails to make the right impression after betting on himself without the presence of Andy Reid.

This move will be championed by McLaurin, one suspects. Bieniemy has a proven track record for turning good wideouts into elite ones, which is something the player is on the borderline of, in any case.
