Best NFL Week 18 Commanders vs. Cowboys Bet
Sam Howell making his first career start with a middling offense against one of the NFL’s best defenses doesn’t give me a ton of confidence. Thus, I’m backing the under in Week 18.
The Commanders are 28th in the NFL in yards per play (4.9), managing only 3.8 against the Browns in Week 17. Led by Micah Parsons, meanwhile, Dallas ranks ninth in opponent yards per play (5.1).
While Washington should struggle to score, I think the defense will play well. The Commanders are 12th in opponent yards per play (5.4) and even stingier at home, surrendering only 5.2 yards per play.
Back the under with confidence and expect a low-scoring affair in Howell’s first career start.
