This could be the most unpleasant quarterback matchups in the NFL in a while.

Deshaun Watson is the hardest guy to root for in the NFL and it’s been great to see him playing poorly since coming back from his suspension.

Then on the other side, Carson Wentz is just unlikeable and I’m tired of having to watch him play football. I’m tired of watching him make terrible decisions and idiotic turnovers, it’s just sad at this point. I thought we were done with that, but here he is back again because Taylor Heinicke couldn’t hold onto the ball or his starting job.

If we have to watch them we might as well make some money fading them in the prop market.

Best NFL prop bets for Browns vs. Commanders

  • Carson Wentz Interceptions Over 0.5 (-102)
  • Deshaun Watson Under 216.5 Pass Yards (-115)
  • Brian Robinson Anytime TD +110

Carson Wentz Interceptions Over 0.5 (-102)

Carson Wentz only has six interceptions to 11 touchdowns this season, so that’s why we’re getting value here. He looked good last week in relief of Heinicke, 12/16 passing for 123 yards and a touchdown, but he’s had 11 turnover worthy throws this year and one last week. He’s just not a good decision maker and never has been.

Cleveland has athleticism all over its secondary, that’s one of the reasons they struggle against the run, but it pays off in their passing defense.

Deshaun Watson Under 216.5 Pass Yards (-115)

I’ve been fading Watson every week since he’s come back from suspension. This is basically an extended preseason for him except he’s going up against defenses that are firing on all cylinders, with near playoff intensity.

He’s still got a lot of rust to shake off from his very extended absence and Washington’s top 10 pass defense will make it a difficult afternoon. The Commanders are top 10 in pressure rate and they do it with a four man rush a majority of the time.

Brian Robinson Anytime TD +110

Robinson had a tough time against San Fran last week, but that’s the No. 1 defense in the NFL. Cleveland is far from that, they allow 4.9 yards per carry this season and have given up 19 rushing touchdowns.

They’ve built this unit on speed and athleticism, but they forgot that sometimes it’s important to have big people on your football team. A physical runner like Robinson should have a great day.
