The Washington Commanders will be on Sunday Night Football for the first time all season against the New York Giants in Week 15. Despite the lack of national exposure, Washington won its previous two primetime fixtures this year; vs the Bears on Thursday night in Week 6 before upsetting Philly on MNF in Week 10.

While those matchups had big stakes, they pale in comparison to Sunday night’s whopper at FedEx Field. We’ve tried to cover every possible angle as far as previewing the game. We’ve already given our picks against the spread, but there is plenty more to bet on for interested parties.

What better way to get involved in the action than placing some prop bets? For the Week 13 meeting between these teams, we nailed the under and Jahan Dotson as an anytime touchdown scorer, so we’re riding a mini hot streak.

Best prop bets for Commanders vs Giants Week 15 SNF

1. Commanders moneyline, over 40.5 points scored (+162)

As much as we want to take the Commanders -4.5, that’s a lofty spread for a game against a team that played them to a tie just two weeks ago. The moneyline, however, is a lot safer for betting purposes. At -230, Washington’s moneyline odds aren’t enticing, which is where the over/under comes in.

It’s very rare an NFL game doesn’t combine for more than 40 points. After struggling to finish off drives with touchdowns in Week 13 (Joey Slye kicked field goals of 21 and 42 yards), look for Washington to be more efficient in the red zone and help that over climb about the 40-point threshold.

2. Terry McLaurin anytime touchdown scorer (+160)

McLaurin at plus money to score a touchdown? Two weeks after he cooked the Giants’ depleted secondary to the tune of eight catches for 105 yards and a score? You bet your bottom dollar we’re jumping on this prop bet.

Scary Terry has three touchdowns in six games against the Giants in his career. McLaurin has feasted against New York, averaging 7.3 catches for 96.7 yards on 10.2 targets. If you can find a sportsbook that offers a McLaurin receiving yards prop, you might as well hammer that, too, because history suggests McLaurin is due for another big game against Washington’s rivals.

Not to mention, he was made for primetime.

3. Graham Gano over 1.5 made field goals (-105)

Much like Washington with Joey Slye, the Giants flaunt one of the game’s most underrated kickers in Graham Gano. The veteran came just short of giving New York a walk-off win on his 58-yarder at the end of overtime.

For the season, Gano’s in the top half of the league in field goals made. Assuming the Giants move the ball with relative consistency Sunday night, Gano should have at least three chances to convert field goals. He made two in the first meetings between these teams, and that feels like a strong baseline for this bet.

It’s not sexy, but it should win you some money.
