2. The Reality Is, Scott Turner deserves better.

Turner has absolutely turned the corner with his play-calling. He’s managed to give Heinicke enough space and opportunities to succeed without putting too much on his plate. He’s adjusted his run-game calls to suit the strengths of his Line and RBs. And he’s continued to add more and more wrinkles to prioritize getting the ball to Terry McLaurin. He deserves to have a quarterback play above replacement level. He deserves to have his offense put together a 30-point day.

Will that manage to happen? One of these weeks, this offense should break out…the combination of weapons, mentality, and scheme should be putting more points on the board than they have been. The key very well may be if Heinicke can level up his play while everyone else maintains the consistency with which they have contributed. This week in New York would be an opportune time.
