Though it came against bad teams, the Washington Commanders are currently riding a two-game winning streak and they have an excellent chance to make it three this Sunday against a seemingly tanking Indianapolis Colts team.

Making his first start since 2021, Taylor Heinicke overcame a dreadful start to shepherd a thrilling comeback win with two passing scores in Week 7. The second half showed Heinicke had shaken off the rust from sitting on the bench the first six games and fans are hopeful he avoids another slow start against a beatable opponent.

The Colts are the talk of the league after they benched Matt Ryan for second-year gunslinger Sam Ehlinger after a 3-3-1 start. The move reportedly stunned the locker room considering the Colts are still in playoff contention, but expect the team to rally around Ehlinger, who’ll be given the reins for the rest of the year.
