1. The Reality Is, nothing else matters until Dan Snyder sells.

While I’m extremely curious to see how Heinicke performs, if the defense can continue to play well in spite of facing the best QB on their schedule this season, and which weapons suit up for the Commanders on Sunday, I would be remiss if i didn’t at least comment on the reality of the whirlwind around the team’s head narcissist, Dan Snyder.

Somehow, with a QB having surgery on his throwing hand, Snyder and his countless controversies again took the vast majority of Commanders-related headlines. He has a team on the brink of a lost season, a fan base waning in size and intensity, and a team of lawyers bigger than his game-day roster.

Week after week, month after month, and now decade after decade, Daniel Snyder has methodically degraded and disrespected the sacred trust of the Washington Football Team. He has done so by both commission and omission. He has done so in direct opposition to some great people he’s hired and in reckless cahoots with those crooks and idiots he’s hired. He’s done so by meddling while in the building and through unforgivable neglect while sailing the high seas.

Enough is enough. It’s time for Snyder to be held accountable for his unconscionable waste of the equity Joe Gibbs built around here. It’s time for the Commanders to come under new ownership. It’s time for Dan Snyder to sell the team and give this franchise a chance to thrive again. Until he does, weekly results will simply be a distraction, a diversion, and more often than not, a disappointment. Here’s hoping that the events of this week are the tipping point.
