Commanders vs Bears Prediction and Promo (Struggling Offenses Give Under Value)
By Joe Summers

Just like that, the Commanders have four straight losses as the season is quickly getting away from Carson Wentz and Ron Rivera. Washington has a must-win matchup in Chicago in Week 6, and you can bet freely on a season-saving victory thanks to BetMGM’s incredible promo for Commanders fans: a risk-free $1,000 bet to use as you please.

With a $1,000 free at my disposal, here’s how I’m betting the Commanders vs Bears this Thursday night:
Commanders vs Bears Prediction and Pick
The Commanders have just 35 points total in their last three games as all three contests went under the total. Carson Wentz is inconsistent, the offense is missing Jahan Dotson, and not much is going right for Washington.
Luckily, the Bears are one of the few teams that may actually have a worse offense than the Commanders do. Chicago is 27th in points per game (17.2) and 22nd in yards per play (5.2), so Washington has an edge there.
I’m not ready to trust betting the Commanders spread though, as they’re 2-5-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last eight games as road underdogs while the Bears are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four as home favorites.
Instead, I’ll look to the total for value. With struggling offenses that play slowly (Chicago is dead-last in plays per game at 53.2), I’m backing the under. In addition to hitting in three straight Washington games, it’s 7-2 in the Bears’ last nine as home favorites. Neither offense can be trusted, so I’m expecting another low-scoring affair.
On a short week, trust the trends and back the under.
